The Tamil Arts & Cultural Society of Tasmania Inc is a non-profit organisation dedicated to celebrating and promoting the rich heritage of Tamil culture within the Tasmanian community. Founded on 2 October 2022, our society aims to preserve and share the Tamil language, arts, and traditions through a variety of engaging events and educational programmes.
We strive to create a vibrant and inclusive environment where individuals from all backgrounds can learn Tamil language, culture and empowerment. Whether through traditional music and dance performances, art exhibitions, or culinary festivals, we provide enriching experiences for everyone.
Our vision is to empower the Tasmanian Tamil community and foster fraternity among Tamils living in Tasmania. We aim to be a beacon of cultural preservation and promotion, ensuring that Tamil heritage is cherished and celebrated by future generations.

Offering resources for educating children about Tamil language, culture, and philosophy through various educational, artistic, and cultural activities

Our comprehensive support services assist new migrants and students in adapting to local conditions, and integrating into the community. We offer CV building, job interview guidance, and community engagement activities.
